Steffen Langner, holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics from the College in Giessen-Friedberg and an MBA of the Vienna University of Economics & Business. In his current position he is leading the platforming activities of the Industrial Business Unit within TE Connectivity. Prior to joining TE, Steffen led the Global Operations for the Mobile Machine & Control Solutions Business of Hirschmann in which he successfully re-located the manufacturing operation into a Best-Cost Country. Further operations leadership roles included the European Wire & Cable Operations of Belden and the Global Temperature Manufacturing Center of Emerson Process Management in Germany. In both positions he transitioned the operations and multi-stage supply chains through the deployment of lean manufacturing practices, delivering improved customer service levels. His strong customer focus supported him in his successful endeavors of Director Customer Care for Rosemount (Division of Emerson Process Management) and in various Product Management/ Marketing Functions at Emerson Process Management, ABB and Elsag Bailey.
